It is set both by /opt/kde2/bin/startkde, if you're in kde2 naturally, and by /etc/SuSEconfig/profile, which is created by /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.profiles regards Anders On Tuesday 27 November 2001 05:01, dep wrote:
greetings.
thought i'd build qt-3.0 and the current cvs of kde3 tonight, but three hours later suse-7.3 continues to fight me. i've set $QTDIR in /etc/profile, exactly as i have in every linux distribution i've used since kde-1.0 was released, only in suse-7.3 it doesn't take -- qt's ./configure informs me that $QTDIR is set to /usr/qt2.
so -- where does suse now set this, so i can go in and unset it, so that it's in /etc/profile as god intended?
thanks in advance.
