Internet now works with 7.3 - I uninstalled SuSEfirewall2 and personal firewall. It was according to the rumor I heard and the suspicion someone from my ISP had that the firewall seems to work the other way round in 7.3 I think me and some others would deeply appreciate an update of these packages which do not prevent internet access :-) For those about to update, uninstall all firewall related packages and wait for a version which works ....

I am running on a cable modem and use DHCP. Have had no problems whatsoever.
