I install another kernel 2.4.5
I recompile with suport devfs
mount /dev/hda9 ( the devfs partition ) /mnt is not problem
my linux suse 7.2 have now 2 kernels 2.4.4 ( default in box ) and 2.4.5

If you get an answer to your answer let me know. I just compiled the 2.4.10 kernel and everything works but I keep getting the message cannot mount partition devpts.
Here is my fdtab file.

As you can see I commented out the devpts but it still tries to mount.
