Check out Mindi Linux at http://www.microwerks.net/~hugo/mindi/index.html
It can create a bootable cd for you.
Before I check that: Does it suit my needs as described above?
Well Mindi works in combination with Mondo linux, which are listed together on the site. There is a short html file called mondo-manual.html. It is easy to read and you can answer for yourself if it meets your needs. For my own uses, mindi will create a bootable cd, both dos and linux, and allows you to add as many of your own files as you want, via deplist.txt.
