Now years after using console as hobby only, I find time to get myself to view around in KDE, finding it _very_ annoying that all the time Kmixer comes up with some stupid default settings which in result in a terrible beep on my notebook as Kmixer defaults to MIC=activated. So I remove that nonsense everytime to save my ears. But after next boot, all those settings which I have just made are gone. The File folder neither shows an option to SAVE the settings, what now? KDE is often difficult for first-time users and not very self-explaining... (I have been programming assembler for 17 years, but I have never seen such a shit like Netscape under Linux, totally inreasonable and partly unlogic key kombinations, even WORSE than the ns-windoze version). -- *º¤., ¸¸,.¤º*¨¨¨*¤ =Oliver@home= *º¤., ¸¸,.¤º*¨¨*¤ I http://www.bmw-roadster.de/Friends/Olli/olli.html I I http://www.bmw-roadster.de/Friends/friends.html I I http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VGAP-93 I I http://home.t-online.de/home/spacecraft.portal I
