Hi, No problems here, except that I have gs_x11 instead of gs_both and I don't have the gs_fontr and gs_fontk packages installed. Did you verify the packages and their dependencies? rpm -V <pkg> rpm -qR <pkg> Maybe some files have gone missing? Regards, Tim On Mon, Sep 24, 2001 at 01:38:33PM -0400, Steven T. Hatton wrote:

I got the files from SuSE's FTP site. I am under the impression that gs_both-6.51-0.i386.rpm would give me all the GhostScript I could want. I really don't know what hosed my printer configuration, it has worked for a long time. Now it isn't. I suspect the gs install may have caused the problem.
Steven Sorry about talking to myself here, but I just discovered this problem is a bit deeper than I thought. gv no longer works. Have I done something I shouldn't have? I hate the approach of installing things until it works. That often causes dependency conflicts and a general mess. Any suggestions are welcome.
