Hi, You could do rpm -e --noscripts vm but note that the uninstall scripts inside the rpm won't be run, so you'll have to clean up after the rpm manually. you could do rpm -qp --scripts vm.rpm to look at the uninstall script and see what it's meant to achieve regards Anders On Thursday 20 September 2001 20.24, Saqib Shaikh wrote:
Hi all,
I installed an RPM from the net which I wish to uninstall. It is the VM mail reader for Emacs. If I type: rpm -e vm I get the output: var/tmp/rpm-tmp.56007: install-info: command not found execution of vm-6.72-2 script failed, exit status 127 Any help appreciated on how I can get rid of this package! Thanks, Saqib
