Hello Martin Thanks for the info. But these tools work only when you use Windows permanently. wpset installs a driver which sets the register at every boot... in Windows only. Unfortunately, I upgraded to 1005 in the hope it could solve something :-( Kind regards Guy

Although you need Windows to run the modification it looks like you only have to do it once! Unless you're using BIOS version 1005. BTW, the files are available here:
