I have an Asus A7V board with a 1Gig Athlon, I only run Linux now and again on it (not an awful lot of use at home) and haven't noticed the temp. I'll have a look though. Matt On Tuesday 18 September 2001 10:12 am, Felipe Blanco wrote:

Because of this your Athlon will run at hight temps even when idle. If you already own a board with this problem, please contact me, I'm trying to establish a group of dissatisfied users to make Asus resolve this, or recall the boards.
