Dear List, This is a repeat of a question earlier. I have Suse 7.1 installed on my pc. I have a sound blaster live sound card. I am currently trying to install the card. I use YAST 2, select the configure sound card option. From the list of drivers, have selected EMU10K1. I then select finish,YAST gets busy installing the driver. But before this process finishes I get the message 'An error has occurred during installing'. The kernel module snd-card-emu10k1 for sound support could not be loaded. Well I dont know why the driver could'nt beloaded. Does anybody have any ideas. YAST suggests that I reinstall ALSA from the snd package. I have already taken this step. So I am really at a loss.
