do a tail -f /var/log/mail (or whatever the file is) and then in another terminal window or session, start up a pop client. sounds like a permission problem. is /var/spool/mail symlinked to some other partition like /home/spool/mail or something weird like that? On Sun, 16 Sep 2001, Rob wrote:
Seem that all of the sudden all of my remote users are getting an error when attempting to check mail. The message is:
Unable to copy file to temp spool /var/spool/mail/(user).pop (28)
anyone know a quick fix on this or what may be causing the problem??
