step by step for taking an apache SUSE 7.2 config and making it SSL (https:)

I've got my cert and key file, and would like to have a directory tree under my /usr/local/httpd tree that is private. Is there any "help" in the SUSE installer that makes this simple for me to do. I've been kind of lost in the httpd.conf file and am hoping I don't have to really master this one. thanks.
