The same thing is happening here. I've also tried the USB devices in the /dev/usb/ folder with no luck When I use the utility USB Viewer, I see my hub and two USB devices, but not my PDA USB cradle (Visor PDA). It's not detecting for some reason. I tried to issue: echo "atz" > /dev/ttyACM0 or ttyACM1 (since there are only two ports) the error was that it was an invalid argument.
same thing with wvdial.
