Hi, I have an ADSL connection on a Windows box (don't ask <g>) and I am using port mapper software to forward requests from the internet to my Linux servers. I have had success with most 'services', but I am currently having a problem with proftpd. The initial connection attempt to my ftp server is fine, the problem is that proftpd returns the 'real' IP address of my server after the initial connection, and obviously the client can't reach that as it is using the IP address of my Windows box. I had the same problem with Apache, but this was fixed by changing SERVERROOT in the apache config file to the IP of my Windows box, is there anything simlar in proftpd?
