Hello again suse-linux-e friends Since I have updated to kde 2.2, I keep getting this error message when kde is starting up. Sep 8 13:13:59 basslake -:0: PAM [dlerror: /lib/security/pam_devperm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory] Sep 8 13:13:59 basslake -:0: PAM adding faulty module: /lib/security/pam_devperm.so I checked my SuSE-70 cd's, with yast 1, and found that I have pam-ldp installed. On Checking the file-list, there is *no* file called, 'pam_devperm.so'. I then checked for updates at suse-ftp, but didn't find anything relating to 'pam_devperm.so'. I checked the (suse linuks), kde update pages again, and there were no files relating to 'pam_devperm.so'. This file looks like a device permissions lib-module, of sorts. kde 2.2 starts anyway though, in spite of this error message. Maybe some others have seen this problem ?? If this is a dependency for the new kde 2.2 update, then where are we supposed to hunt for it?? Thanks for any help on this. John W Mislan
