Hey Victor, Thanks for the pointer. I didn't have a .MCOP* but I did have .DCOP* files. I deleted them but that didn't help. It did get me working on it from a different angle however. I moved off the user data, then removed the user from the system. I then recreated the user and restored their data. That fixed the KDE2 problem. I don't know which file in their home directory it was that was causing the problem. Anyone know how I can keep it from re-occurring in the future. Thanks again, -jpg

Delete the .DCOP* and .MCOP* files in your home directory. I get this=20 whenever I try to play around with the LAN browser.
