what to consider when upgrading kde 2.2 on SuSE 7.2

Hi I am considering upgrading kde to 2.2 on my SuSE 7.2 box, but I have seen numerous emails about the problems that can happen. Please can someone let me know what to expect and what needs fixing when upgrading to kde 2.2 on SuSE 7.2? Many thanks Rich
