* Karol Pietrzak (noodlez84@earthlink.net) [010905 19:33]: ->Damn, Loki has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Scott Draeker ->calls it a "reorganization" and doesn't have plans to stop ->porting for a "long time". I, for one, am not so optimistic. ->Although I haven't bought any Loki games (32MB of RAM is not ->enough), I do plan to in the near future as I build a new ->computer. I noticed SuSE is selling at least two Loki games ->through their own site: Rune and Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns. I ->checked a few days ago but I couldn't _buy_ a copy even though ->the initial description page was built. With Loki's bankruptcy, ->what will become of this? It would be most splendid if SuSE ->cooperated with Loki to make sure it installed flawlessly on at ->least SuSE 7.2. In more detail, what exactly _were_ SuSE plans ->with Loki? Just so ya know. Rune installs so painlessly on 7.1 or it did so for me..it was nothing but "sux to root, then mount cdrom..and run the GUI installer". It's SO much fun. I bought the 1st one and Halls of Valhalla about 2 weeks apart. I played the damn thing for 4.5 hours lastnight..great fun. I would be very sad to see loki die. I have bought 80% of their games...they do a fantastic job of porting them. Too bad your a little lite on the RAM..these games are so fun...but then again I haven't had any issues with the nVidia drivers..Rune is nicely done as is Tribes2.
