Try adding "mem=64M" to the LILO prompt. If that doesn't fix it, boot from the SuSE 7.2 CDROM and select BOOT INSTALLED SYSTEM. That will boot the system using the 2.4.4-GB kernel from the CD. On 4 Sep 2001, Ray Booysen wrote:
I am runnig 7.2 on a 350mhz with 64meg RAM. The problem is that as soon as I boot the computer after the 'uncompressing linux' message, the computer immediately gives the following error message: "Out of Memory, no killable processes"
I think that this is a corrupt image. I can't boot and it is quite urgent. How do I go about reinstalling the image? -- noodlez: Karol Pietrzak PGP KeyID: 0x3A1446A0
