Hi,
being used to work with a Mac, I'd like to swap the Ctrl and Alt keys on my PC. To swap the left Ctrl key (keycode 37) and the left Alt key (keycode 64) I put this in ~/.Xmodmap:
keycode 37 = Alt_L keycode 64 = Control_L
Apparently, this is not the right way to do it, for it does not work. Anyone who knows how it should be done?
TIA, SH
I don't know for sure how to do it but do a: man xkeycaps It's a gui program that can put mods into your .Xmodmap file. -- +---------------------------------------------------------------------------- + + Bruce S.
