I have this happen to me, unless I'm still talking on a MUCK till the wee hours of the morning :-) and the worst thing about it is how the cron jobs manage to completely halt all http traffic. I know these finds etc are usefull, but why have them in cron.daily as standard? Why not have them in cron.weekly instead? Anyone have a reason why this wouldn't be a good idea, cos I can't think of one... :-)
Space. If you have enough drive space no need to not put them off. Of course the longer you put them off the longer they will take when you finally run them. It might be better to run them more often not less. Nick
