Using SUSE 7.2

I have run the vmware-config.pl and tried to power on the software when I get error
there is no valid license for this version, and if already obtained make sure it is placed in the .vmware directory under your home directory name the file "license"
I have tried all so far, tearing my hair out... :-(
Home/My name
Downloads Kdesktop Mail Office 52 vmware
win98 license
win98cfg,log,disk
I also tried creating the vmware file as like before
Home
My name vmware
license
I was sent the license e-mail after registering for 30 day license even when not download latest version.
When I did download latest version I was sent another 30 day license this looks exacting the same.
The only reason I am not using latest Vmware software is get problem as it asks for C headers etc and also kernel problem etc.. which not know what to do.
So I using version installed on Suse 7.2 Cd and only thing stopping it running is it not seeing that I created licence file.
What Have I done wrong?
Help
Hi, I couldn't really decipher your directory structure above, but i *looks* like you have the license file in the vmware directory. I.e. the same directory as the 'win98' directory. This is wrong. It should be in a directory called .vmware, note the leading dot. mv vmware/license .vmware/ Then it should work regards Anders
