I'm in the process of running YOU for the first time on my new 7.2 system. It's rather tedious over my flakey 24k modem connection. Rather than sit here frustrated, mebbe there's a better way? 1) Why does it download ALL the update package descriptions every time? Is there a way for it to remember those that are available, but not yet selected for download/installation? 2) When downloading packages, is there an option to use rsync instead of ftp, using the original rpm on the CD as a base reference? 3) Once I get my desktop workstation configured and stable, I intend to install 7.2 on the laptop as well. I have intentionally not checked the 'delete packages after installation' box. Is there a way I can take advantage of this, by using my desktop as the ftp server when I run YOU from the laptop? Or will I have to suffer thru these slow downloads again? Rick Green
