Hello, I had the same problem with my tnt2 untill i got some good cooling on in, but in your case I am not sure what to say, it might be the videocard.. but yeah check all of teh connectors and try a different monitor or video card. or it could be just that your monitor died and you can't do anything about it. --Roman On Sat, Sep 01, 2001, Doug McGarrett wrote:
Before you give up, make sure your connections are OK. Sometimes strange symptoms occur with flaky connections. Good luck. --doug

Hi "hardware gurus",
It seems that my monitor has gone bad... anyone with such unpleasant experiences out there? Here's the symptoms:
1) horizontal bands; darker where the opened windows are dark and lighter where they are light.
2) Boot into Windows, same symptoms.
3) Changing settings didn't help.
4) Rebooting neither, nor shuting down for hours.
Could it be my video card? I wish... it would be cheaper!
Thanks in advance,
