Hi, A CD with both normal audio and data files on it is a multi session CD. If you mount it, it should mount as a normal ISO9660 cd (at least, that's what my Iron Maiden Live after death does ). An all audio CD cannot be mounted in linux, but programs like konqueror and xmms can still browse them, with the audio tracks showing up with names like track01.cdda regards Anders On Saturday 25 August 2001 22:40, Tracer Bullet wrote:
Ok, another question, I just love them! ;-) How do you get or can you get Linux to read an audio CD just as if it were a standard ISO? I can get them to read just fine on my Amiga, but SuSE always balks that there is no file system on it. Which is probably correct, but you still should be able to read it somehow? Of course, there are usually only audio files there in different formats, but on some of the newer ones are other files, images, etc. included. Just wondering...
