No, it is too much for this. Cable is very simple, there is connection
scheme on many sites (or in UPS documentation), and you have at least few
free UPS monitoring software on Linux.

Connect the UPS to one Linux, the master. It tells the slaves to shutdown, wait a period for comfirmation, shuts itself down and turns off the UPS. Details depend on the UPS brand and model and which UPS software you are using.
Do you know where I can get "free" software for a Junior UPS cause the factory that sold me the UPS wants to charge me 100 bucks for the software and the serial a cable, do you think that is a fair price?
