kdm's menu option kde looks for a program in /usr/X11R6/bin named kde. On my system it's a symlink to /opt/kde2/bin/startkde. Perhaps your symlink got changed?! Anders On Wednesday 04 July 2001 04:42, Curtis Rey wrote:
Ok, now I've done it. I was in "xfce" and didn't have a lot of menu options. So I saw a program called "cde2Xfcepa" and ran it. OH sure, ir gave me more menu options and programs. But now when kdm starts and I click on "user" then "password" and then select "kde" as the WM I want to start guess what??? I GET XCFE EVERY TIME aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!
How do I get it back to starting kde2?? Is there something like cde2kde2pal??
Help please.
TIA. Curtis
