-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I updated Samba on Harlette yesterday as reccomended by SuSE. Since then i've noticed some unsettling results. 1. Wife's PC (dual boot windoze / SuSE) has suddenly taking forever to logon to the little domain here. Normally it takes 2 secs at most now it's up to 5 and 6 and then windoze is prompting for a local user password. Which leads me to belive that it's not authenticating completely. 2. My pc upon booting into windoze (to play alice) suddenly tells me there's no domain available. I can ftp, ssh, http, email out so obvisously TCP/IP the nic, and cabling are all ok. So I remove all networkign drivers and re-install them. three hours I spent on this POS operating System. I try wife's again and that when I discover that hers is acting up. Did something change radiacally in SuSE's samba 2.0.10 update to make my samba conf inoperable? Funny that smbclient works well, as does mount specifing fs type of smbfs... If anyone knows please reply. Till then I'm down-dateing to samba 2.0.9 It worked well with that one.
