Hello all,
I ran into a problem. It's called "Lil". Anyway, I booted my system witht the CD and restored my lilo on a floppy disc, but it is booting into run level 3, how would I change this to run level 5 instead?
Or you can edit the /etc/inittab file and change the default runlevel, from: # default runlevel id:3:initdefault: to: # default runlevel id:5:initdefault:
Yes, you can try this, however do _not_ run SuSEconfig after this, since if it is set to level 3 in /etc/rc.config, it will set it back to three. So then better set it in /etc/rc.config and run SuSEconfig. (And I still think SuSE should properly inform users (root) very clearly what is set exactly in this particular file, and have all turn off options right in the top part of it, or similar).
