My HP 712C (which is a "GDI" or "windows-only" printer) was easily configured during install with Yast2 and printed in full color right "out of the box" with SuSE 7.2. (Also with 7.1 I might add). I do agree however, it's better to buy and/or build your own custom PC.... I bought a complete system with printer for 2000 bucks and I gave away all of them. I don't trust most PC makers, that's why it's better to buy a custom PC or build yours. There're other companies that make good printers but I don't know a printer that works in full color with Linux. Please be kind to save me from searching printer HCL.
