Have you downloaded the version of Sax that goes with XFree86-4.1.0-SuSE? It's in: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/X/XFree86/SaX2/ The version in the updates directory is old. Also, read the README file that comes with the XF86 updates: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/X/XFree86/XFree86-4.1.0-SuSE/README Try this also, rename (/etc/XF86Config is used by XF86 3.3), and start sax2. If there is no new /etc/X11/XF86Config, then your sax2 is broken. -- Rafael
