Hi All I've got postfix, procmail, and mutt somewhat set up and working ok for remote mails. I have suse70 - 2.4.2 Problem is, now I don't receive the seccheck (system security check), and cron mails that I always received before. Postfix.org says that 'if you use procmail (or some other command) for local mail delivery, Postfix will not deliver mail as root.' I'd rather not use procmail to deliver local mails if postfix can deliver them without the extra overhead of procmail. I was wondering, how do some of you, who use fetchmail, procmail, mutt, and postfix together, deal with the local system mail delivery situation ? Create a mail alias for root that forwards mail to a real user. /etc/aliases: root: you I want, 'you' to be /var/mail/root What can I do to fix this ? thanks for any help. John W Mislan
