Honestly, I don't really know :] Check the unrealtournament.ini files in your ~/root/.loki/ut folder and that in ~/regularuser/.loki... folder. If you're running the new Xfree, you should use OpenGL rendering instead of Glide, which you're trying to use and fail... ... I guess changing from Glide to OpenGL would help... remember to do it in your "regularuser" or whatever it is directory, not in the root's :-). Try runing "3Ddiag" it that doesn't work and follow the rules. I hope I helped you! Yours, Ziga Dolhar On Friday 01 June 2001 15:04, Gerry Doris wrote:
I am trying to run the game Unreal Tournament as a regular user but am having problems. I can run successfully as root though.
When I try and run as a regular user I get the following error messages in the startup xterm:
<snip> Initializing Glide... gd error (glide): Permission denied Couldn't change I/O priveledge level. <snip>
Where would I go to fix this????
