It seems to have a nasty design-bug in the return-code, when en e-mail is larger than the postfix mail-size-max. I dont think, my colleage has found a way around it.
Did you submit a report?
----------> cut begin <-------------- Ticket [20010425420000390] The problem causing your troubles is: The parameter 'message_size_limit' defines the maximum size of the queue-file. That means, that postfix cannot append to the file once it is filled. That causes an error that make postfix believe that it might be able to receive and queue this mail at a later time. We are currently investigating, whether we can make postfix generate a final error at this point, without having to 'hack' postfix's code. I will keep you informed. Kind regards, Your SuSE Support-Team Daniel Rahn (nstts@suse.de) ----------> cut end <-------------- I am surprised, that a bug like that isnt fixed in the original postfix long ago. mvh...
