Dear All I was running X Cdroast on my SuSE 7.1 system until I upgraded to GNOME 1.4. X CDroast runs as setuid or setgid. After installing the new GNOME RPMs from the SuSE ftp site I find that Xcdroast exits without starting with the following error message...... "gtk-WARNING **: This process is currently running setuid or setgid. This is not a supported use of GTL+. You must create a helper program instead. for further details, see: http://www.gtk.org/setuid.html Refusing to initialise GTK+." and X CDroast doesn't start. Can anyone give me a clue about how to start Xcdroast ? Thank you -- Richard Sheffield Linux User's Group http://www.sheflug.co.uk
