KDE froze and I had to turn the machine off to get back in, but then I rebooted I got a kernel panic. Here is the message, a bit condensed: EXT2fs error (device IDE0(3, 67): ext2_check_descriptors: block bitmap for group 704 not in group (block 5767168)! EXT2fs: group descriptors corrupted UMSDOS msdos_read_super failed, mount aborted Kernel panic: VFSunable to mount rott fs on 03:43 I have a bootable cd for a rescue system this is suse 6.3 I was having problems before and wanted to upgrade when this happened but the cd drive and floppy quit that is now fixed, so I cna proceed to get the system back if I can and grab the files to save so I can do a fresh install What would you advise my doing? Can I get back into 6.3?
