I discovered tonight (after my hard disk had been wiped) that I can't load an install configuration that I've saved. To be specific, this is what I did: - go into YaST Package Management - select Save Configuration - save configuration to floppy (Minix fs and all that) - reinstall using YaST1 - select Load Configuration - hit F9 for "Load from Floppy" - get told "No configuration available - hit alt-F2 for shell prompt, mount floppy, see perfectly good configuration file on floppy Needless to say, this was *EXTREMELY* annoying and cost me several hours and lots of hand stress trying to re-create the config by hand. Anyone have any idea why this might have failed? Further notes: This is SuSE 7.1. Even after I had a newly installed system and invoked YaST from the command line, it wouldn't read the file I'd saved out to the floppy. -tara
