I seem to remember there was a 2.2.16 patch on the highpoint site to enable
the ATA100 features, however it didn't enable the RAID features. That was a
few months back so I am not sure what the situation is at the moment.

As it states in the original message I posted, I did
in fact set up the RAID as desribed in the bios and
it does function properly in windows.
Thanks

First check the mobo manual about raid setup. I have a Abit BE6-II with the same htp370 chipset. I seem to remember that there are specific steps to enable the raid for it in the bios. Hope this helps. Curtis

Just installed a Abit VP6 motherboard with onboard HPT370 RAID controller.
I tried to install SuSE but it does not see the Raid drive, instead it see's the individual drives. Anybody know of there is a fix for this?
How do you set up a RAID drive in linux?
Thanks
-Pete
(Yes, I did set up the raid from within the bios and it works in windows)
