That's cause SuSE 7.1 and the alsa configuration setup thinks it's a 1370, not a 1371. I have the same card and check it at the creative site. It is a 1371 but won't install. Mine installed as 1370 (and to be truthful, it's really a ctxxxx according to creative, but that's listed as a turtle beach card). I use 7.0 now. My soundcard Ensonic Sound Blaster PCI 128-1371 doesn't want to do anything.He is detected,but can't be installed as snd_card_ens 1371 can't be installed.
