No my friend the real question for me is are you to far to away to buy cds &
the answer is yes i live in a far country in Pakistan .... & those cds cost
me half as much as my salary .... :-)
so you see ...as far as downloading the whole surse is concern i have tried
it before but can get it to work ... maybe cause i am a newbie ....

If you are willing to suffer with a RedHat distro release... go for it. If you want some level of quality, FreeBSD isn't bad... but you won't have the level of flexibility that you'll have with a Linux distro (IMHO.)
There's a little tool called mirror... download the whole release and make your own ISO images.

I am new to suse & still waiting for this 7.1 professional ... by this time i have lost my intrest to be exact why should i go for suse 7.1 when even newer Redhat & FreeBSD are avaliable ... :-(
