AH, thank you! I was looking for /etc/rc.config... LAst time I had changed
syslogd -m, it was on a Slakware system. About 2 years back, no less.
Much better, now. I appreciate it, Jeff. (I knew what I was trying to do,
I just couldn't remember where to do it smartly in SuSE)

In /etc/rc.config, set
SYSLOGD="-m 0"
See "man syslogd" for details. Remember to reload syslogd:
rcsyslogd reload

: Anyone know off hand where I can disable the -- MARK -- indicator from syslogd (permanently, i.e. even after re-boot)?
I used to know where it was, but that sector of memory seems to have gone corrupt.
Thanks, Geordon
