Thanks -- I wish I had known about Kit before. No manual yet, it seems. The interface is not quite as nice as AIM - for instance, you can't display an outgoing chat message on multiple lines as far as I can tell, and there's no way to change the font. Also, the user name doesn't appear on the same line as the message, so it's wasteful of screen real estate. But the sound does work, and that by itself makes Kit worthwhile. Paul Abrahams
