Hello All I don't know if I got lucky with my USB Zip 100 but here's how easy the config. was. Upon boot up the USB hub and zip drive were autodetected, the zip drive was assigned sda4. I inserted /dev/sda4 /zip auto noauto, user 0 0 into /etc/fstab, put an entry into root, namely /zip and everything worked fine. This was using 7.1 and kernel 2.4.0-4GB on a Toshiba 4280 notebook. For what it's worth I am using a Nokia 7110 and data cable connected to ttys0. Yast and wvdial automatically found the mobile phone and the rest was easy. Now if I could just find a way of getting the latest LTmodem driver to compile I'll be able to try and surf. I know from the list a few people are using this driver, if they have compiled it under kernel 2.4 please let me know how. Kind regards -- Mark R. Annandale SCN Limited Mobile: +447775853649
