About 1), it is now sure it is a software issue because at some moment, yesterday, that problem disappeared. Afterwards, I restarted X + KDE 2.1 and it was there again. Patrick At 23:26 7/04/01 +0200, Patriiiiiiiiiick wrote:
Hey!
We might be reaching the end of my problem list... ;-)
1) When in X (xf86 4.0.3), the picture at the screen is shaking horizontally when the hard disk is accessed. I don't have this problem in a win... environment. It means that it's not a simple hardware problem. My graphic card is an ATI Xpert@play (rage pro). Any idea where this could come from? Anybody else seen this?
2) Also, where do we change the desktop size? I don't like it to be bigger than the display. Where do I tune the positive and negative synchronization of the screen? Now both horizontal and vertical are positive and I think that I might get a better image quality if they were negative. Is there a tool for those options in KDE 2.1 or SaX. I searched at the time I had KDE 2.0 but couldn't find any.
Thank you in advance for the hints!
