I've been trying to add ppp to the modules.conf. I'm certain it wasn't loaded at startup since when I did an insmod ppp, the only thing it complained about was the missing slhc (and it didn't complain when I insmod'ed that). The line in my modules.conf that describes ppp the closest has ppp_async in it instead. When I do modprobe -nv \* it only shows ufs, even when I rmmod ppp and slhc. I've looked at the man pages for everything, docs, howto's and mini howto's. Nothing helped. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to add modules to the list, so it loads it up at boot time? And also, why modprobe doesn't seem to show the right auto-load list with the command above? Thanks! Emmanuel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
