Cool, that works nicely. I noticed that sometime I get the doubleclick(start 2 instances of NS...then It complains about the lock file) other than that your script sure helps
Now this is what I have "developed" :)
obi1@obieito:~ > cat /usr/bin/kn
killall -9 netscape rm $HOME/.netscape/lock
Check out the script at http://eon.za.net/linux/nss/ which solves all of these Netscape problems. It handles your lock file, even if you 'kill -9' netscape. If you try to run multiple instances, it will simply open a new window with the currently running copy. I rename the netscape binary and replace it with this script so that it works all over my system for all users. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE60wLj+FOexA3koIgRAkxkAJ9hbsHPtqFusD5XlTITjBASb/VjlgCgs2/F e0yEFDcnU3vr5KtVDIRLyfo= =aWYU -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
