Hi,
I have SuSE 7.0 installed, and complete mirror of 7.1 on my root volume (RaiserFS formatted) from SuSE ftp site. I am starting PC from CD 7.0#1, choose install/update system -> from hard drive -> select partition (dev/hda3), enter source directory (/home/ftp/mirror/suse7.1/suse), and got the message "Cannot find the image! Check the directory specification!"
I am tried to change directory from /home/ftp/mirror/suse7.1/suse to /home/ftp/mirror/suse7.1, but the problem do not disappear.
/home/ftp/mirror/suse7.1 is a complete mirror of suse 7.1 ftp.
The mirror is OK for sure, becuase if I tell YaST1 to update entire system from my mirror, it checks directory and then tells that it cannot update base system while it is running.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
I had a similar problem when I downloaded and installed 7.0. For some reason the problem dissappeared after i moved the ftp mirror to /7.0/ so the path was shorter to type each time I tried. Regards Ole
