I went to http://www.rpmfind.com and searched for Quanta and Suse.
Downloaded it and installed it (I forget the version, but I wasn't choosy
since there is only ONE Quanta .rpm file to choose from that was for Suse)
using Yast and entered 'quanta' at the commandline and BAMM....it opened up
flawlessly.
I saw earlier responses to my problem. Thanks for the help. I used the
RH6.2 rpm file because that was all I could find at the time. A little more
searching helped in this case.

I tried to install the new beta version of Quanta for KDE2 the other day and it barfed. Before I try to re-install and post why it failed does anyone know where I can get a rpm for SuSE of the new Quanta (doesn't have to be the latest beta, but the version compiled for KDE2)?
TIA,
Jethro
