Well, I have had luck with nVidia cards..and the drivers keep getting better...although today when I was playing Soldier of Fortune..I quit the game and KDE2 was all kinds of screwed up colour wise..so I figured I would restart it..when I did X errored and would not start up. I had made a back up of my XF86Config file and a good thing to .. because I looked in /etc/X11/ and it was gone..as in NOT there. I still haven't figured out what could have deleted it. If this has happened to anyone else...please let me know what conclusions were come to. * Avi Schwartz (avi@CFFtechnologies.com) [010305 21:46]: =>I am looking to get a video card that will enable me to play those Loki =>games that require 3D accelerated rendering. I am currently running XF86 =>4.0.2. Any suggestion as to which video card to get? -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org ----- If two men agree on everything, you can be sure that only one of them is doing the thinking.
