On a lark I decided to try wine. I followed the instructions under section 12.3 of the Linux Configuration manual, making sure path=/ under [Drive D]. I inserted my StreetAtlas 5.0 setup CD into the drive. mount /cdrom CD /cdrom wine setup.exe It installed!!!!!! The install attempted to install a windows group but that failed according to the wine insructions. I closed that dialog box and exited the install program. Then I umount /cdrom and replaced it with the main StreetAtlas 5.0 CD and mount /cdrom wine wine/Atlas5/sa5.exe and up popped Delorme's Street Atlas 5.0 map of the USA!!! Worked great! The only thing I didn't try was printing a trip map that I made. I said on occasions that one of the few programs I was not able to run under Linux as a street map program. That issue is now dead. Now, where did I put my old QuickVerse CDs? JLK
